Fagus sylvatica 'Bornyensis', a green-leafed weeping beech, different from the Fagus sylvatica ‘Pendula’ because of the asymmetrical habit. Develops a central leader, from which the crown does not continue but forks into branches that drop limply alongside the trunk. Often almost all hanging branches are on one side of the trunk. Sometimes with slightly lighter weeping branches suspending irregularly at the opposite trunk side. As a result, the tree is more or less columnar. Ornamental park tree with heights from 15 m to 20 m maximum.
