An English pyramidal growing selection that thrives well in the cold and wet Northwest European climate. The Liquidambar styraciflua 'Worplesdon' can reach a total height of 12-15 m, width maximum 6 m. Striking autumn colouration, when leaves turn from orange red into purple.
