The Quercus robus 'Fastigiate Koster' is one of the better columnar oaks. As apposed to the 'Fastigiata' type, this species does not thin out. The strong ascending branches create a columnar to narrow conical crown. Height 10-15 m, width 3-5 m maximum. Perfect choice for urban areas where there is little space for planting.
